Hi- I found your blog from a link on Lindsey Rederns facebook. I was just curious- I thought you had just been chosen by a birthmom. Does ldsfs not take your profile down once that happens? Again, just curious.
The potential birthmom that has chosen us, is not registered with LDS Family Services. At this point, the adoption is a Private adoption.
Since she is not very far along, LDSFS is giving us all time to see where things go; in the mean time, we are still listed through LDSFS. It is true, once you are matched through them, your profile is removed. That is correct.
love your blog! your boys are just the cutest. we are just beginning the adoption process and it has been so helpful to read your experiences. So happy for your family and the upcoming placement of your new little one. Thanks again for sharing your experience, it has been incredibly helpful. Best of luck you you! our adoption blog: http://prowsehouseadopts.blogspot.com
